In girum nocte

SYNOPSIS

Islands. We run and run to end up in the same place. Circles The routine isolates us but at the same time protects us from the outside world that presents us as, an inhospitable place. Departures, the possibility of the other. Instead of understanding it as a platform towards immensity, we are imprisoned in another island. We run together. We had breakfast. We slept. And once we create a repeated circle, we disintegrate with the slightest thought of not having arrived at another landscape of pure oxygen. And so, each new departure, we are presented as another island marked in a repeated landscape. The scenario used is then, catwalk and circle. Both, without saving us, lead us and return. The elements, the classics; fire, more ether than air, water and earth. And finally, and first, is, time; that of the whales, that of the mammoths, that of the image, that of the museums. And among all, filtered, ours.

We invite the viewer not to be such, to project within the installation, to surround the interpreters and not see them as such, to look at the sweat of their faces, to listen to the beat of the camera, eternal, that devours them. To feel, to be, the time of the image, of the representation, of the moment, to intuit his own. To play and feel, with simplicity, the purity that hides among all the pollution that surrounds us, among all the learned models. To change space, for time. After all, everything is nothing, a palindrome with the end that is a principle; "In girum Imus nocte et consumimur igni."

The work is divided into 10 performances, 2 installations and a dance.
